Clouds at Dusk Talisman

This necklace features a large Star Ruby (approximately 18x20mm), which has distinctive hexagonal patterning as opposed to the more common six pointed star typical of a Star Ruby. The look of this stone reminds me of looking at clouds across a red sky at dusk.

Set in a heavy walled Sterling Silver bezel with hammered textured accented by oxidizing the recesses in the silver.

A 9k Gold ring connects the pendant to an entirely handmade paperclip chain with handmade clasp.

The chain is 24 inches long so hangs low, made from oxidized Sterling Silver.

This is quite a large and heavy piece, so not for those who prefer dainty jewelry.
